BUSINESS COACHING
Business Coaching is not always what most people think it is.
This is not surprising as the concept of coaching is very broad and not defined even in specific contexts. There are several approaches to coaching and they all have their place. All approaches to coaching can broadly be classified into 2 categories; Behavioural and Conditioning.
Behavioural Approaches to Coaching
98% of all approaches to coaching are primarily behavioural. Behaviour is what drives results and by impacting behaviour you will change results. Behavioural approaches include skills development (including soft skills), mentoring and motivating.
Conditioning Approaches to Coaching
Conditioning approaches to coaching take cognisance that behaviour is driven by conditioning, the set of internal rules that dictate the landscape of individual reality. This approach is interested in the process of producing behaviour and not just the impact of the behaviour.
Business is increasingly looking at coaching as a tangible solution to people and performance issues. The challenge has always been in demonstrating how the impact of coaching can be measured.
Through our experience of solving business problems by improving human performance we have developed measurable outcomes from coaching. Our Peak Employee Performance System™ provides the framework and the tools to translate team potential into business results.
